Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cupcakes
Who doesn’t love chocolate chip cookie dough, right? It’s just so hard not to go crazy munching on it. Sometimes I wonder how much I actually eat before it gets baked and, even justify by telling myself it’s a superfood….. Well, maybe that is going too far…..

These cupcakes are loaded with a chocolate chip cookie dough center and are the perfect outlet for that ooey gooey craving. My kids growing up, loved this cupcake so much. That cookie dough bakes up perfectly in the center of a tender cake. The best of both worlds, hands down!

When I started my home baking business, I was working on my cupcake menu and trying different flavor combinations and textures. This is where I discovered this cupcake.
I tried different versions to see what worked the best. Finally, deciding that putting a hunk of raw dough right in the center of the cupcake before baking was the way to go!
Before long, it was a top seller, especially at arts and craft fairs. Excitingly, this cupcake was one the first cupcake flavors to always sell out.
Super popular with the young crowd too.

For this recipe, I take my favorite vanilla cupcake along with my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe. I’m sure you have a favorite as well, if so, try it and let me know how they turned out. Together, this duo rocks it out and might be a fan favorite in your family and friends.
Also, you could even use the store bought version cookie dough. Works equally as well and will save you some time for a quick short cut.
Chocolate chips and cookie dough were just meant to be together, what is your favorite cupcake flavor?
